Embark on a rewarding contract role as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary students onsite in a school environment near Salem, OR. This full-time position spans the entire 2025/26 school year, offering the chance to collaborate with educational staff and contribute meaningfully to the development and success of young learners. Youll be a vital part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering individualized and group SLP services tailored to each childs needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Oregon SLP License or eligibility to obtain one
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or relevant school-based speech experience
- Familiarity with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for elementary students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Engage in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary planning
- Adapt therapy approaches to best support student participation and learning
