Make an impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary students for the entire 2025/26 academic year. This contract opportunity is perfect for skilled SLPs passionate about helping children achieve their communication goals in a vibrant school environment near Salem, OR. Youll be working onsite, collaborating with educators and families to deliver exceptional speech-language services throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Oregon SLP license, or eligibility to obtain before the assignment start
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience with pediatrics or school-based caseloads strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to evidence-based interventions and student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families on student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
