Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a current Oregon SLP license.
- Credentials may include SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or experience in a school-based SLP role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively engage and support students with diverse speech and language needs.
- Aptitude for collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver intervention services to students with speech and language challenges.
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress reports, and service logs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student support plans.
- Offer consultation and training to educators and parents to enhance understanding and support of communication needs in the classroom.
- Maintain compliance with all state and school requirements for documentation and reporting.
