Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025/26 school year, providing essential services to elementary school students in Salem, OR. This onsite contract position offers the chance to deliver specialized SLP support within a dynamic educational setting, focusing on pediatric caseloads and school-age speech-language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to elementary school students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Utilize assessment and intervention techniques tailored to pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and interventions in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in meetings and professional development related to student communication needs

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience working with pediatric populations or school-aged students
  • Knowledge of school-based speech-language therapy practices and standards
  • Ability to work onsite full-time throughout the school year
