This contract-based role places you in a dynamic, supportive school environment near Salem, OR, serving a diverse PreK-12 population across five open positions. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and administration to deliver essential speech and language services, with caseload sizes averaging about 50 students each. Assignments are thoughtfully made, ensuring alignment with your professional strengths and interests.
What Were Looking For:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Oregon SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work fully onsite for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school-based setting
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each students IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate, compliant documentation
- Serve a caseload of approximately 50 students, with assignment by staff strengths and program needs
- Engage in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and professional development as required
