Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming academic year in the vicinity of Saint Simons Island. Beginning August 6th, 2026 and continuing through May 28th, 2027, youll play a vital role in supporting students with a comprehensive range of speech and language needs. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a significant impact within an engaging and collaborative educational environment.

Ideal candidates will provide the full scope of school-based SLP services, working directly with students, teachers, and families to foster communication skills and advocate for student success.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current Georgia licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience providing SLP services in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to evidence-based practices and individualized student support

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct and consultative SLP services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to create supportive learning environments
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Provide education and resources to school teams and parents
  • Manage a caseload while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations
