Job Description

Providing speech-language therapy services in a dynamic school environment located in Saint Petersburg, FL. This contract position offers the chance to support students' communication development through individualized therapy plans and collaborative efforts with educators and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students' needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote effective communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school regulations and policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with staff
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain detailed records
