Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, including IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt intervention plans to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
  • Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to creating supportive academic strategies
  • Provide guidance and resources to classroom teachers to support carryover of communication goals
  • Comply with both district guidelines and ethical standards of practice
