Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, including IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt intervention plans to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to creating supportive academic strategies
- Provide guidance and resources to classroom teachers to support carryover of communication goals
- Comply with both district guidelines and ethical standards of practice
