Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) accepted
- Previous experience with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication with students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups
- Maintain up-to-date records and document student progress
- Participate in meetings with educators, parents, and specialists to support student success
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language goals into classroom activities
- Stay current on best practices and continue professional development in the field
