A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in K-12 school settings in Saint Paul, MN. This position is onsite and offers a caseload working directly with students throughout the school year.
Candidates must hold a valid Minnesota SLP license and have professional experience in school-based speech therapy. The role requires working full-time, approximately 35-40 hours per week, delivering speech and language support to a diverse group of elementary through high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license or equivalent certification for SLPA
- Prior experience providing speech services in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload with a focus on student-centered outcomes
