Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Previous experience in school settings is highly preferred, across various age groups
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
- Familiarity with current best practices and assessment tools in speech therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans targeting students unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress documentation in line with school guidelines
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within the school environment
- Support staff and families with resources and strategies to reinforce language development
