Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity in the Saint Paul, MN area supporting students as a dedicated speech-language pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position allows you the chance to focus your expertise on one assigned school, working with a diverse caseload of approximately 45-60 students. Youll engage both in direct therapy and indirect services, including evaluations, all while collaborating within a supportive educational community.

Your core skills in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school settings, will make a significant impact here. The district follows a caseload model, offering a manageable and meaningful number of students to serve. Youll have access to dedicated therapy space, benefit from flexible interview scheduling via Zoom, and receive comprehensive support as you transition into the roleincluding training in the districts IEP system.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CCC-SLP credential
  • Substantial experience in school-based pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Knowledge of current evaluation tools and IEP writing
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students with diverse needs
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and contribute meaningfully to IEP development and implementation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrative staff, and families to promote student progress
  • Maintain compliant records and caseload documentation
  • Participate in paid team meetings and professional training
