This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offers a chance to support early childhood special education (ECSE) students for leave coverage during the remainder of the school year, with the possibility of summer evaluations extending your involvement. Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience providing speech services within school environments, particularly early childhood settings, is highly valued
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, families, and support staff
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students in ECSE programs as leave coverage
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain clear records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Potentially conduct summer evaluations as needed
