Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience providing speech services within school environments, particularly early childhood settings, is highly valued
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, families, and support staff
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services to students in ECSE programs as leave coverage
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and maintain clear records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Potentially conduct summer evaluations as needed
