Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students communication development in a school setting near Saint Paul, MN! This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators and work directly with students across multiple sites as you provide essential Speech-Language Pathology services.
In this position, you will partner with school teams to cover multiple leaves through the end of the school year. As an on-site SLP, youll be able to utilize your skills in assessment and therapy to help students reach their full potential.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Minnesota SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience providing SLP services in school settings
- Strong collaborative skills and adaptability
- Ability to travel between school sites within the district
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students on a diverse itinerant caseload
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Document progress and update records following district guidelines
- Adapt and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Support students in achieving communication goals, both individually and in group settings
