Job Description

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support for students in a K-12 itinerant role within the Saint Paul, MN public school system. This position offers a contract through the current school year, covering multiple leave assignments, and requires on-site presence to deliver high-quality speech and language services to a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement tailored intervention plans.
  • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting therapies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district policies and IDEA guidelines.
  • Provide expertise in communication disorders to support student success within the educational setting.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively in an itinerant role.

Position Details:

  • Location: On-site in Saint Paul, MN public schools.
  • Schedule: Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
  • Duration: Immediate start through June 11, 2026.
  • Caseload covers multiple leave replacements during the school year.
