Job Description

This opportunity is for a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite support covering multiple maternity leaves within an established school district in Minnesota. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with elementary and middle school students in need of speech and language therapy as part of a 3:1 service delivery model. The role involves three weeks of direct therapy services followed by one week focused on indirect support.

Location: Anoka, MN
Type: Contract
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Elementary and middle school settings including students in Setting III CDC
Service Model: 3 weeks direct services, 1 week indirect services
Therapy-Only Role: Caseload consists entirely of therapyno evaluations required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services across multiple schools to cover maternity leave absences
  • Support students ranging from typical elementary caseloads to those requiring specialized care in Setting III CDC classrooms
  • Work onsite at various locations within the district, including elementary schools in Brooklyn Center and Blaine, and Roosevelt Middle School
  • Manage a caseload aligned with the 3:1 model, providing consistent and effective therapy services
  • Collaborate with school teams to ensure continuity of care and student progress

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings
  • Licensure to practice in the state of Minnesota
  • Ability to adapt to multiple school environments and caseload needs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
