Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving students in a variety of educational environments near Saint Louis, MO. This role requires a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (either Clinical Fellow or CCC), passionate about supporting students across multiple campuses with a focus on diverse age groups and needs. The assignment will run from August 24, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (dates subject to minor adjustments based on campus calendar).
Enjoy working with students in Hazelwood (all ages), Ferguson Florissant (primarily elementary), and Jennings (all ages) neighborhoods. Minimal travel between nearby schools allows you to make a broad impact while maintaining work-life balance. This full-time assignment consists of 37.5 hours per week, with caseloads based on service minutes, ranging between 3200-3400.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Current professional Speech-Language Pathology license (CF or CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Ability to work with varied age groups and populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with staff and families
- Adaptability to meet the needs of multiple campuses with minimal travel
- Completion of time-sensitive pre-employment requirements (fingerprints, drug screening)
- Availability for a prescreen interview (please share your preferred day/time between 9-11a or 2-3p EST; some flexibility available)
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy to students according to their IEP service minutes
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with educators and parents to provide comprehensive support
- Participating in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
