Job Description
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with bilingual Spanish/English skills is needed to support K-12 students in a variety of on-site school settings in St. Louis, MO. This contract position offers flexible part-time and full-time opportunities across multiple school locations within the district, serving diverse student populations with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Deliver therapy in both general education and self-contained classrooms, tailoring approaches to each childs needs.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and participate in professional development.
- Communicate effectively with diverse populations, offering bilingual services in Spanish and English.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Missouri state license to practice as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
- Strong experience working with school-aged children, particularly in special education settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Job Details:
- Location: St. Louis, MO (Multiple school sites).
- Duration: January 5, 2026 June 3, 2026.
- Schedule: Part-time (3 days/week) and full-time options available, up to 37.5 hours/week.
- Setting examples: Part-time at an elementary school; full-time at a self-contained specialized school.
