Make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adolescents by delivering speech and language services across a range of school settings in a supportive academic environment. This contract opportunity offers Speech Language Pathologists (CCC) the chance to work with a diverse caseload, supporting students from PreK through 12th grade. Assignments will involve traveling between multiple sites within the district, with specifics determined prior to the start date.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP Licensure required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience working in school settings with mild to moderate communication disorders preferred.
- Availability for a contract spanning the full school year (August through May).
- Must be able to complete or verify school district fingerprinting requirements through the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtain the appropriate JLA badge.
- Adaptability for itinerant assignments across varying grade levels and locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Educate and empower staff and families regarding best practices for supporting communication development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop measurable goals for student success.
