Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language services within a collaborative elementary school environment. In this dynamic contract position, youll support students in grades K5, including many who are non-verbal and utilize AAC devices to facilitate communication. Flexibility is essential, as assignments may shift between one or two schools based on evolving needs. Youll join a dedicated special education team committed to empowering students and fostering a nurturing learning environment.

What you'll bring:

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license
• Experience supporting school-aged children, preferably in an elementary setting
• Knowledge of AAC devices and strategies for working with non-verbal students is highly valued
• Commitment to adaptability and responsiveness to changing assignments
• Ability to manage approximately 3,400 service minutes and varied caseloads
• Willingness to complete district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting (with TCN submission) and technology agreement

Your key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language assessment, intervention, and consultative services to students across assigned campuses
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with special education and classroom staff
• Document student progress, communication goals, and service minutes in accordance with district standards
• Support students across the full spectrum of communication needs, fostering meaningful participation in both classroom and social activities
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
