This opportunity is for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapeutic services within a dynamic K-12 school setting located in Saint Augustine, FL. The contract position spans the current school year, offering a rewarding role focused on supporting students communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade.
- Manage an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate speech and language needs.
- Work itinerantly between multiple school sites to ensure comprehensive coverage across the district.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Maintain precise documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school policies and licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
- Experience working with diverse student populations in school settings familiar with caseload management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to an itinerant schedule across multiple school locations.
Location:
- On-site position based in Saint Augustine, FL, with travel to various school sites as required.
