Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity working with primary school students, ranging from 3-year-olds through 5th graders. In this contract SLP-CCC position, you'll play a vital role in helping young learners develop their communication skills and reach milestones. You'll join a collaborative environment committed to providing supportive therapy and creating a positive impact.

Role Overview:

  • 35-hour work week for the current school year
  • Serve a diverse caseload of students with a variety of exceptionalities
  • Deliver direct therapy services, conduct screenings, and perform evaluations
  • Collect and interpret data that informs IEP development and progress tracking
  • Write IEPs based on thorough data analysis and professional guidance
  • Collaborate with teachers, other service providers, and families to support student success

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Louisiana SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within the primary school setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to fostering student growth and engagement
