Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Sahuarita, AZ Contract Position
A school district in Sahuarita, AZ, is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an onsite contract role during the 26/27 school year. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students impacted by Autism, providing specialized speech-language services in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with Autism spectrum disorder
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with school staff and families
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (DOE)
- IVP fingerprint card clearance as required by the Arizona Department of Education
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably with Autism spectrum disorder caseloads
Position Details:
- Location: Sahuarita, AZ (onsite)
- Contract position with 37.5 hours per week
- School year appointment: 26/27
