This full-time, in-person role (37.5 hours/week) also welcomes part-time applicants eager to make an impact. What were looking for:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license/certification in Michigan
- Previous experience (clinical or school-based) with elementary-aged children
- Strong understanding of various communication disorders and best intervention practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive school environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing speech, language, and communication skills of students in grades K-5
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student needs
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
- Helping ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines
