What were looking for:

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license/certification in Michigan
• Previous experience (clinical or school-based) with elementary-aged children
• Strong understanding of various communication disorders and best intervention practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive school environment

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing speech, language, and communication skills of students in grades K-5
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Providing direct therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
• Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student needs
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
• Helping ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines
