Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Michigan
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA-CCC) required
- Experience working with diverse age groups including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and federal guidelines
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and execute tailored therapy plans to meet students individual needs
- Collaborate seamlessly with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to overall student success planning
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within school environments
