Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a must-have
- Experience working in educational settings with a variety of age groups (early childhood through high school) preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy and strategies to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students from early childhood through high school
- Conduct assessments to determine students' abilities and needs, writing impactful IEP goals and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Offer guidance on communication strategies and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere
- Document services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Take part in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory standards
