Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus, though not required
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Strong commitment to student growth and success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and professional development as needed
  • Provide consultative support to classroom teachers for effective intervention strategies
