Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- School-based SLP experience, with a focus on pediatric and early childhood populations strongly preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Compassionate communication skills for engaging with students, teachers, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students across grades Pre-K12
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students communication abilities and create tailored intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services for students in pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Document evaluation results, progress, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support students academic success
- Provide consultation and resources to families to foster continued growth outside of the classroom
