Job Description

With one designated school site and a K5 caseload of approximately 29 students, youll enjoy focused, high-impact work with children who will benefit from your expertise.

Candidates should bring school-based experience or the ability to adapt effectively to the school setting. Comfort with a range of needs and the flexibility to tailor interventions is essential.

What youll need:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state SLP license or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in process
  • Experience or interest in working with K5th grade students
  • Strong teletherapy skills a plus
  • Prior school-based and/or pediatric SLP experience (highly regarded)
  • SLPA supervision experience helpful, but not required

What youll do:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Develop and implement IEPs and evidence-based therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide teletherapy services as needed
