Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina SLP License
  • Valid South Carolina Teaching Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for school-aged children
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in line with school guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes for each student on your caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student development and ensure carryover of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities as needed
