Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina SLP License
- Valid South Carolina Teaching Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for school-aged children
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in line with school guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes for each student on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student development and ensure carryover of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities as needed
