Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license for Illinois
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEP goals, and utilizing evidence-based therapy practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with varying communication needs
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights into student needs and progress
• Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups, using engaging and effective techniques
• Support carryover of therapy goals into classroom activities and daily routines
