This onsite, full-time contract position offers positive impact, professional collaboration, and a chance to develop your skills throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Youll participate in New Hire Orientation from August 12-14 before seamlessly integrating into your assigned school community for 35 hours a week. Caseloads and grade levels will be determined based on your strengths and preferences, ensuring you have the resources and support needed to thrive.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current and active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a K-12 educational setting or a strong desire to learn.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide records for license and PEL verification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students with varying needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff for student success.
- Conduct assessments and provide progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state requirements.
