Job Description
Make a meaningful impact this upcoming school year as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students in a collaborative educational setting. This contract opportunity is situated onsite in a lively Illinois school community, offering variety and excitement day to day. Work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, providing critical speech-language services to a diverse group of learners.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Active Illinois SLP License
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Previous experience or skills working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Strong communication abilities and collaborative spirit
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students across a K-12 caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to bilingual students needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, documenting and reporting outcomes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of supportive educational plans
