A part-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in the Rosemount, MN area, focused on supporting early childhood and special education programs, specifically addressing mental health needs. This opportunity involves travel to local schools and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners communication skills within a specialized educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support to students in early childhood and special education mental health programs
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop individualized treatment plans and progress reports
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of students with diverse communication challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for comprehensive student support
- Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology License (MN SLP License) required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working within school settings, particularly with early childhood and special education populations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to travel locally to multiple school sites
