Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathology opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through high school, all at a single site. This fulfilling assignment is located in the greater Romulus, MI area, with easy access to Westland, Taylor, and Flat Rock. The position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, offering a consistent 32.5 hours per week.

This school values onsite professionals and welcomes dedicated SLP travelers who hold a Michigan Professional License as well as an MDE Educator Certification.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current MI Professional License (LARA)
  • MDE Educator Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience in school settings, especially with K-12 populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Role Highlights:

  • Provide direct SLP services to a mild-to-moderate K-12 caseload at one school location
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
