Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Michigan SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Prior professional school-based experience (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent caseloads
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
- Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and social communication skills for students in grades 68
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, data-driven speech and language therapy onsite
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
