Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or ability to obtain
- Previous experience delivering speech and language services in a K-12 school or pediatric environment
- Proficiency with assessments, progress monitoring, and development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organization, documentation, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations of students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans aligned with students IEP goals
- Deliver individualized and group sessions within school settings
- Monitor and document students progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom and at home
- Provide consultation and offer resources to support overall student development
- Remain current with best practices and continuing education in pediatric speech-language pathology
