Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist experienced in pediatric and school-based settings, ready to collaborate with a diverse range of learners from Pre-K through High School.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
  • Prior experience working in pediatric, Pre-K, elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in assessment, intervention, and documentation for students across multiple grade levels
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Adaptable, organized, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and social communication disorders
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social success
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services for students in early childhood, elementary, and secondary grades
  • Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute detailed, actionable reports and recommendations
  • Engage in professional development to remain up-to-date with best practices and compliance requirements
