This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist experienced in pediatric and school-based settings, ready to collaborate with a diverse range of learners from Pre-K through High School.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Prior experience working in pediatric, Pre-K, elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong knowledge of best practices in assessment, intervention, and documentation for students across multiple grade levels
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Adaptable, organized, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and social communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social success
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services for students in early childhood, elementary, and secondary grades
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute detailed, actionable reports and recommendations
- Engage in professional development to remain up-to-date with best practices and compliance requirements
