A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Rock Hall, MD, serving K-12 students in a responsive and supportive school district. This role involves a mixed caseload and requires a valid Maryland SLP license. The position offers a combination of travel and on-site responsibilities, providing a dynamic work environment in both educational and clinical settings.
Key qualifications include:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and practices
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Ability to deliver therapies across diverse student needs and settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when appropriate to enhance care accessibility
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development and district meetings
