This contract, full-time position focuses on serving a diverse K-12 population, offering both in-person and teletherapy opportunities. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Maryland SLP License (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, and/or healthcare SLP settings
- Comfortable delivering services via teletherapy platforms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate records and provide progress updates
- Advocate for student needs within the school environment
- Engage in ongoing professional communication with district staff and families
