Step into an impactful school-based speech-language pathology role that shapes student success across multiple grade levels. We're seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and SLP Assistants (SLPA) for contract positions serving students ranging from preschool to secondary grades for the upcoming school year.
Several opportunities are available to match your experience and interests:
- Elementary schools (grades K-6)full-time (37.5 hours weekly)
- Developmental preschool (ages 3-5, potential to include some elementary students)full-time (37.5 hours weekly)
- Secondary grades (7-12, two locations)full-time (37.5 hours weekly) Each caseload is approximately 60 students, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in their communication and academic progress.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Washington State SLP license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate
- Experience working in school settings, including with diverse student populations (preferred)
What You'll Do:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver therapy to students with speech-language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff for holistic student support
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with state and district requirements
- Provide consultative services to staff and families as needed
