Make a lasting impact in the lives of K-12 students by providing dedicated speech-language support in a school setting near Rochester, NY. This contract opportunity, based in Henrietta, runs from September 2026 through June 2027 and offers the chance to serve a diverse student population. Work onsite for 35 hours per week within a collaborative, student-centered environment. Two positions are available, welcoming professionals who are passionate about helping young learners reach their full communication potential.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid NY SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and grade levels (K-12)
- Commitment to developing individualized intervention plans
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement student-centered therapy plans in accordance with IEPs and educational standards
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support students academic and social success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
- Potential to provide services via teletherapy as needed
