Job Description

This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist role based onsite in Rochester, NY, serving an elementary school environment for the 20252026 school year. The position involves supporting students in grades K-2 who present with mild to moderate disabilities. The contract is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through February 6, 2026, encompassing 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Active TSSLD (Teaching Speech Language Disabilities) Certification
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
  • Skilled in teletherapy and healthcare-based speech-language pathology preferred
  • Familiarity with caseloads involving mild to moderate disabilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students with communication disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students speech and language needs
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and team meetings
