Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Previous experience supporting elementary-aged children, particularly within a school setting
- Understanding of diverse speech, language, and communication needs in children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to a collaborative, student-focused approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-5
- Conduct individual and group interventions based on student IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and document students speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans targeting student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings to discuss student development
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment for every learner
