Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical skills are highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students speech, language, voice, and fluency
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans according to each students IEP
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and updates
- Provide consultation and training to educational staff as needed
