Providing specialized speech and language support to K-12 students in an elementary school setting, this travel opportunity in Roanoke, VA offers a dynamic environment to apply your expertise. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing identified communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and report on therapy outcomes
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably within an elementary school environment
- Ability to travel to and work on-site in Roanoke, VA
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and success through evidence-based practices
Work Schedule and Location:
- 37.5 hours per week
- School year and non-school year positions available
- On-site work in Roanoke, VA with travel requirements as part of the role
