Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist Certification for the state of Virginia (VA SLP Certification)
• Experience in school settings preferred, especially with elementary students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Open to CSY and NSY candidates

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
• Develop individualized intervention plans tailored to students unique needs
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with documentation requirements
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring clear communication regarding goals and outcomes
• Support students participation and success in the classroom setting
