Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Certification for the state of Virginia (VA SLP Certification)
- Experience in school settings preferred, especially with elementary students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Open to CSY and NSY candidates
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop individualized intervention plans tailored to students unique needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with documentation requirements
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring clear communication regarding goals and outcomes
- Support students participation and success in the classroom setting
