An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist in Roanoke, VA, providing support to students in K-12, primarily within an elementary school setting. This contract position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week during the current and next school year (CSY and NSY).
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in meetings and professional development as needed
