Core Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license for the state (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome
  • Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), evaluations, and progress monitoring in a school setting
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a diverse, fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Provide direct and indirect SLP services to students according to their IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state policies
