A contracting opportunity is available for six Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Riverview, FL. This role focuses on providing critical speech and language therapy to support the academic and social success of students throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida State Licensed SLP certification is required.
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Job Details:
- Location: Riverview, FL
- Job Type: Contract for the current school year
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday through Friday)
- Age Group Served: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development activities.
