Job Description
A travel position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school settings, located in Riverside, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in educational environments while providing essential speech-language services to students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Developing individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school policies and regulations
- Providing consultative services and recommendations to classroom staff
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Familiarity with pediatric caseloads and speech therapy in healthcare or clinical settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school teams and families
