Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting highly valued
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and work effectively with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify students speech and language challenges
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans targeting a variety of communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insightful recommendations for student growth
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Provide resources and support to educators and families for classroom carryover and generalization of therapy strategies
