We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver impactful speech and language therapy services in a welcoming school environment near Riverside, CA. In this contract position, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and parents to empower students in reaching their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong clinical fellows are welcome
- Prior experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEP process and compliance is a plus
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and participate in meetings as required
- Promote awareness and understanding of communication disorders within the school community
