Job Description

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Audiologist, or Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) who holds the nationally recognized Listening and Spoken Language Specialist Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert. AVT) certification. This contract role supports students with auditory-verbal therapy needs in an educational setting, offering valuable services aimed at enhancing listening and spoken language skills.

Location: This position is onsite in Riverside, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the ongoing need for Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) services for students.
  • Provide AVT sessions once a month, each lasting 60 minutes, for students who require continued services.
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensure and national certification standards related to service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold the LSLS Cert. AVT credential.
  • Possess a current state license relevant to your discipline (SLP, Audiology, or TDHH).
  • Experience providing auditory-verbal therapy in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to student outcomes.

Schedule: Part-time commitment, approximately once per month for a 60-minute session, offering a flexible engagement.
